The useful first question is which column — because a warm refrigerator column with a perfect freezer column beside it rules out everything shared and points straight at that column's own evaporator, fan and defrost circuit.

The panel kept reporting a fault while the temperature never actually changed. He photographed the code, checked the sensor against a thermometer, and found the reading was wrong rather than the cooling. Replaced the sensor and the nagging stopped.
