Boston Back Bay and South End kitchens are frequently below grade or on an upper floor with no service lift, and both facts change how a built-in comes out. We work out access before the appointment rather than on the doorstep.
Brookline A lot of Brookline built-ins sit in period houses where the cabinetry was made around the appliance. Getting a unit out without damaging a custom panel is often the longest part of the job, and it is not a step to rush.
Cambridge Cambridge kitchens run small and dense — undercounter refrigeration, integrated dishwashers and compact columns rather than full 48-inch built-ins. Ventilation clearance is the recurring problem.

Chelsea Newer construction along the waterfront with integrated European appliances — Bosch and Liebherr more often than the American built-ins we see inland.
Quincy Quincy runs from dense older housing to new waterfront building, and the appliance mix follows exactly that split.
Chestnut Hill Large kitchens, full suites, and a lot of wine storage — the cabinets that fail quietly and are noticed late.
Woburn Mixed residential with a good deal of newer construction, where the appliances are young enough that most faults are still installation-related rather than wear.
