Compressor was running far more than it used to and I could hear it from the next room. Door closer had weakened on a heavy glass door so it was never quite sealing. Replaced, and the running time dropped straight back to normal.

Standing water in the bottom after every cycle. Ours is behind a custom panel and I dreaded it coming out. He read the code, checked the sump, found a blockage rather than a failed pump, and the panel never moved.

A single burner burning yellow and lazy while the rest were fine. Spill had reached the port ring. Cleared it, checked the cap seating, and it burns blue and even again. He did not try to turn it into a bigger job.
