Convection side heated normally and the microwave side did nothing at all. He said those are two appliances sharing one cavity and they fail separately, which narrowed it immediately. Magnetron. Knew before he arrived what he was likely looking at.

Upper cavity dead, lower one working perfectly. He separated what the panel was claiming from what the oven was actually doing, which sounds obvious but nobody else had. Element, not the board I had been quoted for elsewhere.

A solid sheet of ice under the bottom basket and the drawer would barely open. He said it was not failing to cool, it was failing to clear frost, which was blocking its own airflow. Defrost heater replaced. Obvious once someone explains it.
